THE AMERICAN QUARTET

The American Quartet was formed by Christ in January 2000. Being inspired by the Southern Gospel legends of yesterday, Founder and Manager Roger Queen had a vision to create a quartet that would be well received in both church and concert settings. For well over a decade now The American Quartet has accomplished that goal, reaching those both nationally and internationally while living their ultimate goal of "Lifting The Name Of Jesus With A Song And A Smile!"

ROGER QUEEN

FOREST CITY NC

Roger with a voice that is smooth, simple, and straight from his heart touches people everywhere he goes. He and his wife, Denice, of 38 years live in Forest City, NC.  Their two sons along with their wives also live in the area and have blessed them with 6 grandchildren. As a child, Roger had the dream of being on stage in a gospel quartet. Singing in church had a natural feeling so when the time came, he was ready to sing . While traveling with The Melody Masters Quartet he was fortunate to be able to share the stage with many top groups and legends in the gospel music industry. Rogers goal is to see the unsaved be saved, and those who are hurting see their burdens be lifted. You can always be sure Roger will sing his heart out whether there are 10 people or 5 thousand people.
